Wesley Photos > We arrived in Jinotega on Sunday, after spending the night in Managua.
Wesley Photos > The children at the Jinotega orphanage, the staff and our translators all pitched in and helped us repackage the medicines we were required to bring in their original packaging. This took an afternoon.
Wesley Photos > Our team and our other helpers filled several tables as we organized the medicines into individual packages with dosages and instructions in Spanish.
Wesley Photos > Janet pours pills into a plastic bag with Spanish labeling, while Wayne holds a paper plate rolled into a makeshift funnel.
Wesley Photos > Sara organizes the clothes to be passed out during the week. One-fifth of each type of clothing, shoes, etc. is pre-packaged and labeled for the appropriate day of the week. That way, there is an adequate supply of goods to distribute throughout the trip. Adjustments are made nightly if any clothing is left.
