SrHigh Mission Trip 2008 Kentucky : In July 2008, 18 senior high students and 6 adults traveled to Hazard County in Kentucky. Our team served two families, one church congregation, and 17 local students during our student led VBS. We worked on deck builds, yard drainage, replacement of rotten joist beams, demolition of a dangerous front porch, staining privacy fencing and decks. Students created and led local students in our S.P.L.A.T. Vacation Bible School, where our theme taught the importance of Seeking God, Praying, Living Godly Lives, and Telling others. Two of our own students accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior, and everyone else on the trip was impacted by God's Love and Will for them in many ways.

SrHigh Mission Trip 2007 Louisiana : 18 senior high youth and 6 adults traveled to Dulac, Louisiana in July. Louisiana is quite warm in July! We worked with LeaderTreks this year, and they found the work sites through the UMC in the Dulac conference. Daily Bible studies (45 minutes), intense construction (siding, deck demolition and rebuild, kitchen repair, finish work), and group debriefing (discussing our daily study and intentional group encouragements) filled our days. One evening was spent in New Orleans viewing the still visible reminders of two deadly hurricanes. Ask a senior high youth how their life was changed by serving others in Louisiana.

JrH Mission Trip 2007 - Heifer Ranch : Jr High Mission Trip to the Heifer Ranch in Perryville, Arkansas (June 2007). The photos you will see here are many of our team building and play times because our photographers were busy working during work times! You will see shots of working in the tree nursery, with the livestock, hauling gravel for a road we helped build, gardening in the organic gardens, clearing brush, our night in the global village and various "huts" from the village, and more. 18 youth and 6 adults worked at the Heifer ranch learning about our responsibility as Christian citizens of this world to use resources responsibly, to cherish those resources, and to make sure all of our neighbors are loved and cared for. We spent time each of the 4 days working and learning. We also spent time in team building activities which you can see in the bungee swing, high wall climb, and various other group activities. What kind of FOOT PRINT do you leave in this world? We learned quite a bit about ourselves, and how we can serve those that are in need, hungry, and outcasts. God's Kingdom will never be the same!
