Jr High Mission Trip to the Heifer Ranch in Perryville, Arkansas (June 2007). The photos you will see here are many of our team building and play times because our photographers were busy working during work times! You will see shots of working in the tree nursery, with the livestock, hauling gravel for a road we helped build, gardening in the organic gardens, clearing brush, our night in the global village and various "huts" from the village, and more.
18 youth and 6 adults worked at the Heifer ranch learning about our responsibility as Christian citizens of this world to use resources responsibly, to cherish those resources, and to make sure all of our neighbors are loved and cared for. We spent time each of the 4 days working and learning. We also spent time in team building activities which you can see in the bungee swing, high wall climb, and various other group activities. What kind of FOOT PRINT do you leave in this world? We learned quite a bit about ourselves, and how we can serve those that are in need, hungry, and outcasts. God's Kingdom will never be the same!
