In July 2008, 18 senior high students and 6 adults traveled to Hazard County in Kentucky. Our team served two families, one church congregation, and 17 local students during our student led VBS. We worked on deck builds, yard drainage, replacement of rotten joist beams, demolition of a dangerous front porch, staining privacy fencing and decks. Students created and led local students in our S.P.L.A.T. Vacation Bible School, where our theme taught the importance of Seeking God, Praying, Living Godly Lives, and Telling others. Two of our own students accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior, and everyone else on the trip was impacted by God's Love and Will for them in many ways.
